Tonight, I went to the New England Auto Show with Nick & my family. Most of us have been going for years, but it was Nick & Thing 1's first trip. The show is a great opportunity to check out cars that I will never be able to afford. ;)Thing 1 absolutely loved it, too. This is a picture of him & my brother-in-law sitting in a Ford Focus. He also tried out the Pontiac Solstice with his grammy & the Chevy HHR with his auntie. The child loves shifting! He's not even 9 months old yet & he was sitting on my mum's lap, making the shift knob move back & forth and giggling like crazy. It was great.

Oh man I'm playing at that tomorrow! That would have been awesome to run into you there.
That would have been the best. "Family, this is Hooker . . um, Matt . . . um, Hooker." Actually, though, I was sitting on a Vespa scooter at the show & I looked up at Nick & my mum and said, "Ya know, Hooker has a motorcycle. I'd rather try that on for size." Then, I started to explain to my mum who you were and she was like, "I know - Hooker from the blog!" It was surreal. ;)
