This weekend was some exciting Red Sox/Yanks baseball! Despite the fact that we lost the series 2-1, we continued to show the Yankees the caliber of team we are this year.In a way, it's nice to see a glimmer of action from the Yanks. We still have a comfortable 12.5 game lead over them, but it's good for us Sox fans to be reminded of how fickle the fates of baseball can be. A smart Red Sox fan is one who possesses a healthy distrust of extended good luck!
Kidding aside, I really, really love this 2007 Sox team. :)
Oh, and Mike Lowell is my new boyfriend. ;)
