OK, time for the pics from my favorite day, Day 5 (March 26th). :) On this day, Nick & I had breakfast at our first B&B, checked out Culloden Battlefield & Clava Cairns, headed south to Loch Ness & Urquhart Castle, struck west towards the Skye bridge (traveling through Kintail), explored Dunvegan Castle (my ancestral castle, since my grandfather is a MacLeod), and ended our day at our second B&B (in the Cuillin mountains on Skye). Here are the photos!

It's so weird seeing all this from your perspective! I stood in almost the same spot as you in the visitor centre at Urquhart Castle last year (and I'm going to Skye next month), although it was blowing a gale and snowing so I didn't hang about to take pictures...
Lovely pictures though!
Iain & I have been enjoying your pictures so much (and reliving your time here)! There was a Beer Festival at the Sheep Heid last weekend! Of course, we went in honour of you two:-)
loely photos!
Off to sunny Scotland on Friday. Of course I'll just hang about Edinburgh (my mother-ship) and that will suit me just fine. . .
Teeny - Have you, the boy, and your mums booked your lodgings for Skye yet? If not, the B&B (www.crossal.co.uk) at which we stayed was amazing! I'd highly recommend it. :)
Sarah - I'm glad you're enjoying the pics. I didn't want to take up our last night by describing everything in detail to you, Iain, Stevie, and Ally - so this will do the job for me! Hope you enjoyed the Beer Festival at the Sheep Heid, I'm so jealous!
Eileen - Thanks. It's certainly due more to the beauty of the vistas than to the skill of the photographer. L St. Beach is great, but it's not quite the west coast of Skye, is it? ;)
DQ - You must be so excited! Tell Edinburgh I miss it. :)
