A bit how I'm feeling lately. ;) Any wonder one of my favorite albums of 2010 was The Suburbs?
Also - this WSJ article is an interesting exploration of why the hipsters/intelligentsia/etc. (with whom I sometimes share sympathies) excoriate the suburbs so often.
